🚗💨 ARE WE THERE YET? THE GRISWOLDS HIT THE ROAD IN 4K! 🎢

In today's episode of Gary Talks Physical Media, Gary takes a nostalgic road trip back to one of the funniest comedies of the 1980s with a retro review of NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VACATION (1983) and its Warner Bros. 4K Ultra HD SteelBook release!

Directed by Harold Ramis, written by John Hughes, and starring Chevy Chase, National Lampoon's Vacation introduced audiences to the Griswold family and launched one of the most beloved comedy franchises in movie history.

Chevy Chase stars as Clark Griswold, an enthusiastic family man determined to give his wife Ellen (Beverly D'Angelo) and their children Rusty (Anthony Michael Hall) and Audrey (Dana Barron) the ultimate summer vacation.

The destination? Walley World, the greatest family amusement park in America!

Unfortunately, getting there proves to be anything but relaxing.

From disastrous roadside stops and questionable accommodations to an unforgettable encounter with Aunt Edna (Imogene Coca), the Griswolds' cross-country adventure becomes an increasingly ridiculous nightmare.

And that's before they even reach the amusement park!

Along the way, the family encounters a memorable collection of characters, including Randy Quaid as Cousin Eddie, John Candy as a Walley World security guard, and Christie Brinkley as the mysterious woman in the red Ferrari.

More than 40 years after its original release, National Lampoon's Vacation remains a comedy classic, packed with quotable dialogue, unforgettable characters, and some of the most outrageous family vacation disasters ever committed to film.
